Early Childhood Art Academy at the Uptown Gallery, offers the young child (ages 2 through 5) time to create and learn together! Age-appropriate activities and medias are provided and guided by a veteran early child specialist (mom of 2, Meme of four, and over thirty-six years of classroom teaching experience PreK- 12). These projects will enhance and strengthen gross and fine motor skills and become a fun learning experience. Projects are designed to bring about creativity and active learning, through a non-threatening process and learning environment.
Each week introduces a new theme (seasons, holidays, animals, etc.) and new artistic art techniques and tools. Class is limited to 5 students accompanied by guardian: ages 2 through 6. Fee: $25 members/$35 nonmembers
