Art Academy at the Uptown Gallery offers students time to create and learn together! Age-appropriate activities and supplies are provided and guided by a veteran art education specialist (mom of two, Meme of four and over thirty-six years of classroom teaching experience PreK- 12). These projects will enhance and strengthen gross and fine motor skills and become a fun learning experience. Projects are designed to bring about creativity and active learning, through a non-threatening process and learning environment. Projects will be teacher directed based on themes, artists work, art concepts (Elements and Principles of Design) and an array of art medias, techniques and tools.
